Lovin It!

Wow, can’t get any better than this – practice is just spot on right now and I’m loving it!!!  While it hasn’t gotten any easier to get up at 4am these days I seem to find a way to convince myself to – and boy am I happy each morning when I start and finish practice.

This morning was no exception!  Not only did I totally get into Supta Vajrasana, but I held my toes like mad during the entire posture!  It was great – so my theory of a few days or weeks to get into that pose was incorrect – cause I did it great today (and Sharath even commented that it was good!).  Plus, right after I finished the pose he gave me Bakasana!!!!  And wait it gets better: I have always STRUGGLED to get into Bakasana B but today, yeah I jumped right into the pose!  It felt wonderful…

After such a refreshing practice I was on cloud nine for quite a while.  I went home and did a little work on the computer and just spent most of the day fiddling with a bunch of different ideas and also doing some research online.  Around 4:30pm I headed to the gym and did cardio for the first time in well over a month….Boy oh Boy it felt good to my heart rate up like that!  I spent about an hour in the gym before heading to my friends place to do some nice slow yoga postures!  Great way to end the day!  On my way home I stopped by a food stall and got some Gobi – yummy!  Brought that home and ate it while talking to Kwang on the phone…He’s getting well adjusted to life back home in the states, which is really good to hear.  His jet lag is beginning to set in pretty hard core (he’s up at 3 or 4am and then exhausted by 9am…He says it pretty much like that all day).  He’s also got a lot of errands to run, catching up to do, and the like.  I can simply say I am really happy I don’t have to do all that for another few months.
