Fasting, Day Four
Yippee, on the fourth day of my fast – it looks like I may just be able to do all seven days after all. Kwang began his fast today and he’s done really well. It’s been really nice taking all the herbs and shakes together. We did our practice around 1pm today which was really nice! I did most of primary series and some nice R&R poses before I did the finishing sequence. I enjoyed today’s practice more than any other so far at the sanctuary. After practice we ran down the hill and hoped into the sauna, not for too long though as I just can’t stay in very long. At 4pm we took our fourth shake of the day, and Kwang went off to do his first colonic irrigation ever! He found it to be quite productive! At 5:30pm I went to the room for my second colonic of the day…I’m starting to dread them more and more – I am just kinda over it, but I’ve made it four days so I will be able to get through the next three. At 7:00pm Kwang and I will get to sit down for our first dinner together in a while – a nice bowl of tasteless veggie broth – yummy! No complaints though and no regrets, I am definitely grateful that Kwang opted to do this too. And since he’s only doing five days he’ll finish just one day after me, so we can pretty much do the entire post fast together.
